Storms batter Poland: nearly 2,000 fire brigade callouts, alerts in 15 regions

Emergency alerts were sent to residents of 15 Polish voivodeships due to forecast storms, strong winds and heavy rain. The IMGW issued weather warnings at levels one, two and three. Fire brigades responded to nearly 2,000 callouts caused by the storms, with more severe weather still expected.
