Poland fast-tracks residency — but only for wealthy foreigners, Helsinki Foundation warns
The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights has criticised a government bill aimed at speeding up residency legalisation for foreigners in Poland. Foundation lawyer Marcin Sośniak told Gazeta Wyborcza the bill is "tailored for Japanese executives" and ignores other workers who contribute equally to the Polish economy. The HFPC argues that all foreign workers deserve the same treatment regardless of income level.
