Polish Navy launches first warship from Miecznik programme

Poland has christened and launched the first warship from its Miecznik programme, marking a new chapter in the Polish Navy's history. The new vessels are intended to address growing Baltic Sea challenges, including activity by the so-called shadow fleet, Russian warships and the construction of offshore wind farms.
