Pyrenees: humans were present in high mountains for 10,000 years

New archaeological research overturns the long-held belief that the high Pyrenees were virtually untouched by humans. Scientists found evidence of regular human presence in these remote areas spanning more than 10,000 years. The findings significantly revise our understanding of human settlement in European mountain ranges.
