UK's CosmoQuest satellite to probe cosmic dark ages from the Moon's far side

A tiny UK-developed satellite called CosmoQuest, roughly the size of a small carry-on suitcase, is designed to observe the early universe from the far side of the Moon. Its goal is to study the cosmic dark ages — approximately 150 million years that elapsed before the universe's first stars ignited. Positioning on the Moon's far side will shield it from radio interference emanating from Earth.
