Danuta Szlajmer 'Siódemka', Warsaw Uprising courier and medic, dies aged 99

Danuta Szlajmer, known by her wartime alias "Siódemka", a courier and medic who fought in the Warsaw Uprising, has died aged 99. The Warsaw Rising Museum announced her death on social media. She took part in the fighting for the PAST building and was not yet 17 when the uprising broke out.
