Coldcard tightens security after $130 million Bitcoin exploit
Coinkite has released new firmware for its Coldcard hardware wallet that requires users to add their own randomness when generating wallet seeds, a measure aimed at boosting security. The update also fixes additional vulnerabilities uncovered during a three-week security review prompted by a $130 million Bitcoin exploit.
