Hong Kong court convicts two former Tiananmen vigil organizers in national security case
A Hong Kong court has convicted two former organizers of the city's annual vigil commemorating the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown in a national security case. The vigil was for decades the largest such commemoration held on Chinese soil. The convictions mark a further crackdown on civil society in Hong Kong.
