Court slashes Alex Jones Sandy Hook penalty from $50 million to $1.5 million

A US court has drastically reduced the penalty imposed on Infowars founder Alex Jones for falsely claiming the Sandy Hook school shooting was a hoax, cutting it from $50 million to $1.5 million. The Sandy Hook massacre killed 20 children and six school staff members. Jones had repeatedly told his audience the attack was staged.
