CFTC bans former Alameda and FTX executives from trading

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) issued a trading ban against former executives of Alameda Research and FTX. Separately, US federal prosecutors opposed a legal motion filed by an American soldier accused of profiting from a plot to remove Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
