Danuta Szlajmer "Siódemka", Warsaw Uprising courier, has died

Danuta Szlajmer, known by her wartime pseudonym "Siódemka" (Seven), has died. She served as a courier and medic during the Warsaw Uprising and was among the last surviving participants of the battle for Warsaw.
