Uber fined €825m for GDPR violation — second-largest penalty ever
The Dutch Data Protection Authority has fined Uber €825 million (approximately $966 million) over the blocking of drivers' accounts in violation of GDPR rules. It is the second-largest GDPR fine ever imposed. Uber has announced it will appeal the decision.
