Nawrocki sends anti-quackery law to Constitutional Tribunal instead of signing it

President Karol Nawrocki declined to sign the so-called "lex szarlatan" bill and referred it to the Constitutional Tribunal for preventive review. While he is legally entitled to do so, the reasoning he provided for the move has drawn criticism. The law was designed to curb quackery and unqualified health practitioners in Poland.
