Who invented Poland's "bread culture"? The absurd government report explained
A government report titled "Portrait of Poles" overseen by Prof. Barbara Mróz-Gorgoń was partly developed during meetings with employees of a Kraków municipal company and workshops held at Warsaw's Hotel Sobieski. One of its bizarre conclusions was the concept of Poland's "bread-ness" (chlebowość) as a defining national trait. Now none of the participants in the report's creation will claim authorship of the term.
