Polish audit finds State Waters authority broke the law on fishing rights

Poland's Supreme Audit Office (NIK) found that the head of State Waters (Wody Polskie) unlawfully restricted the freedom of economic activity in the fishing and fish-stocking sector by launching the "Nasze łowiska" and "Opłata krajowa" programmes in 2021 and 2022. The actions were found to be incompatible with the Inland Fisheries Act.
