Baltic Sea in best shape for 40 years, says Polish oceanographer

Prof. Jan Marcin Węsławski of the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot says the widely held belief that the Baltic Sea is "dying" is factually wrong. The southern part of the sea is in its best condition in 40 years, which he attributes to reduced pollution inflow. The interview was published in the magazine "Academia".
