New York overtakes SF Bay Area in tech jobs for the first time

New York City has topped the San Francisco Bay Area in tech employment for the first time, according to CBRE's annual survey of commercial real estate markets. New York counted 394,300 tech jobs compared with the Bay Area's 375,730. It marks a historic shift in the geography of the US technology labour market.
