Poland's NFZ to tie A&E funding to ambulance patient numbers

Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) president has issued a new regulation on the financing of hospital emergency departments and admission wards. The flat-rate payment hospitals receive will now depend in part on the number of patients brought in by ambulance crews.
