Kremlin spokeswoman claims Russia is the only guarantor of Ukraine's sovereignty

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova declared that Russia was and can be the only guarantor of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, citing repeated statements by President Putin. She also claimed that Western states do not actually want an independent Ukraine, citing their policies toward Kyiv as evidence.
