Webb telescope captures the "Treasure Chest" cometary globule in the Carina Nebula

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope captured an infrared image of the "Treasure Chest," a cometary globule located within the Carina Nebula, a star-forming region also known for the Cosmic Cliffs. A cometary globule is an isolated cloud of gas and dust featuring a dense, dark head and a sweeping tail. The image was taken on August 6 and released by ESA/Webb, NASA and CSA.
