Muslim World League launches West Africa counter-extremism initiative

The Muslim World League hosted a conference in Abuja where Muslim and Christian leaders from across West Africa signed four cooperation agreements. The gathering adopted the Abuja Declaration and established a new coordinating body to counter extremist narratives in the region. The initiative aims to promote peace and interfaith dialogue in West Africa.
