Trump to allow 300,000-tonne ground beef imports tariff-free

President Donald Trump announced a temporary tariff exemption on up to 300,000 tonnes of ground beef imports to help lower prices for American consumers. He blamed former President Joe Biden for the high cost of beef. Trump did not specify which countries would be eligible to supply the duty-free meat.
