Bulgaria sweep Ukraine 3-0 to open European volleyball championship

Bulgaria defeated Ukraine 3-0 in their opening match of the men's European volleyball championship, conceding no sets despite having been outperformed by Ukraine in the recent Nations League. Azerbaijan also claimed a full three points, beating Portugal 3-1.
