Half a million former officers waiting 25 years for second pension — government gives no deadline
Retired uniformed service officers have been fighting for over 25 years for the right to receive both a ZUS pension and their service pension simultaneously. Those who worked and paid contributions after leaving service have their ZUS payments suspended. The Ministry of Labour has prepared a draft legislative change but given no implementation date. The community is planning a protest outside the Prime Minister's Chancellery.
