Walmart to roll out tap-to-pay in all stores by end of 2026

Walmart has announced it will accept tap-to-pay via phone or smartwatch in all its physical stores by the end of 2026. Sister chain Sam's Club will also introduce the feature soon. The move comes notably late — many US retailers have accepted NFC payments for years.
