Poland's registry offices to transcribe same-sex marriage certificates from 23 August

From 23 August, every civil registry office (USC) in Poland must transcribe foreign same-sex marriage certificates into the national register. The change follows new document templates and system updates introduced in response to rulings by the EU Court of Justice and Poland's Supreme Administrative Court. Some local officials and politicians have voiced opposition to the new rules.
