Operation "Forrest Gump": ex-MP close to Zelensky arrested for money laundering

Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) arrested former MP Maksym Mykytas as part of an operation codenamed "Forrest Gump," targeting alleged money laundering. The case is the latest scandal involving people close to President Zelensky — two days earlier he dismissed deputy head of his office Iryna Mudra. The wave of corruption cases is damaging the image of Ukrainian authorities.
