The municipal hospital in Miastko, Pomerania, has accumulated 55 million złoty in debt and filed for bankruptcy. The facility has gone through 15 directors and stopped paying doctors' salaries. It is currently run by a director associated with a brand called Ziołowa Magia, known for promoting herbal treatments for Lyme disease and "parasite cures".
