Ukraine strikes key Russian air base at Akhtubinsk, 650 km from front line

Ukraine's General Staff announced a strike on the Akhtubinsk military airfield in Russia's Astrakhan region, located roughly 650 km from the front line. The base is one of Russia's most important centres for testing new aviation equipment and weaponry. Russian casualties were reported as a result of the attack.
