Women's Euro volleyball: France thrash Slovakia, winning two sets 25–13

France opened the Women's European Volleyball Championship with a dominant three-set victory over Slovakia. The French won two of the three sets with Slovakia scoring just 13 points in each of those sets. The opening match confirmed France's clear superiority over their southern neighbours.
