Trial begins over sexual abuse of missing 11-year-old from Żory

A trial has begun at the District Court in Strzelce Opolskie against a 24-year-old man from Żory charged with, among other offences, sexual abuse of a person under 15. The case relates to the disappearance of 11-year-old Patrycja in May 2025 — the first time the Child Alert system was activated in the region. The girl was found in the defendant's flat.
