Two prosecutors open probes into scuffle involving MEP Obajtek outside Solino salt mine HQ
Prosecutors in Inowrocław and Bydgoszcz have launched separate investigations into a physical altercation involving MEP Daniel Obajtek outside the headquarters of the Inowrocław salt mine company Solino. One line of inquiry concerns a possible violation of the MEP's parliamentary immunity, while the other examines alleged unlawful invocation of parliamentary authority. Both sides' conduct during the scuffle will be scrutinised.
