Shield East: €10bn spent, US and UK troops set to reach Poland's border

Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that after two years of the Shield East programme, initial operational readiness has been achieved at many locations along Poland's eastern border. Around €10 billion has been allocated to border security so far, and US and British troops are expected to reach the border area shortly.
