Poland split down the middle over Nawrocki's referral of 'lex charlatan' to the Constitutional Court

President Karol Nawrocki has referred a patients' rights amendment known as "lex szarlatan" to the Constitutional Court. A report by the analytical group Res Futura found Polish internet users evenly split — exactly half supporting and half opposing the decision. The law was controversial for its provisions on access to non-conventional medical treatments.
