Polish Ombudsman backs Taco Hemingway in dispute over drug advertisement in a song

Polish Ombudsman Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram has filed a court submission supporting rapper Taco Hemingway's appeal against a ruling by the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector (GIF). The GIF ordered the artist to stop what it deemed an unlawful advertisement of a medicinal product mentioned by name in one of his songs. The Ombudsman argued the ruling violates the rapper's freedom of artistic expression.
