Poland's Eastern Shield has spent €10 bn in two years, more investment planned

Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced on Friday that after two years of the Eastern Shield programme, initial operational readiness has been reached at many locations. Approximately €10 billion has been spent on securing Poland's eastern border so far. The ministry plans further defence infrastructure investments.
