Brzoska proposes financial penalties for platforms over deepfakes and fraudulent ads

InPost CEO Rafał Brzoska, whose image and his family's likenesses were used in deepfakes, has presented his own proposal for regulating social media platforms. He wants platforms that profit from advertising to face straightforward financial penalties for harmful content. The proposal came alongside his call for systemic punishment of Facebook and other services for broadcasting fraudulent advertisements.
