Polish government plans to write off ZUS debts incurred before 1999

The Polish government is preparing a bill that would automatically write off social insurance (ZUS) debts incurred before 1 January 1999, including accrued interest and enforcement costs. The measure would benefit people who have carried long-standing ZUS arrears for years. No implementation date has yet been announced.
