Poland tops EU fuel price rises — petrol up 17% in a single month

Poland recorded the highest monthly fuel price increases in the European Union in July 2026, according to Eurostat data. Petrol prices rose 17.2% compared to June, while diesel climbed 13.4%. No other EU member state posted comparable monthly increases.
