Auschwitz Museum expands memorial grounds by over 3 hectares

The Auschwitz Museum has taken over more than 3 hectares of land in front of the former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp. The expansion aims to provide appropriate, dignified conditions for visitors to the memorial site. Małopolska Governor Krzysztof Jan Klęczar stressed the duty to honour the memory of those murdered there.
