Riot cancels 2XKO development — League of Legends fighter shut down after months

Riot Games has announced it will soon end development of 2XKO, a fighting game set in the League of Legends universe. The title lasted only a few months before being deemed a failure and written off. The game had been positioned as a spin-off of the hugely popular MOBA franchise.
