Moldova cannot confirm Romanowski is hiding in Transnistria
Moldovan police told Polish outlet Wirtualna Polska that they are still verifying whether former Deputy Justice Minister Marcin Romanowski is actually hiding in the breakaway Transnistria region. Chisinau has no data confirming that Romanowski ever entered Moldovan territory at all. His presence in the separatist enclave cannot currently be treated as an established fact.
