A2 motorway Łódź–Warsaw to be widened — Strabag wins 321M PLN contract

Poland's General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has signed the second of four contracts for widening the A2 motorway between Łódź and Warsaw. Austrian construction firm Strabag will build a 21.8-kilometre stretch from the Łowicz junction to the Łódź–Mazovia regional border for 321.4 million PLN. The project is part of a broader upgrade aimed at increasing capacity on one of Poland's busiest motorways.
