China rejects US calls to join economic isolation of Iran

China's Foreign Ministry stated on Friday that US sanctions and increased pressure on Iran are not the solution to the crisis. Beijing, Iran's key trading partner, rejected Washington's calls to join efforts to economically isolate Tehran. China called for a diplomatic approach instead of further pressure.
