Google buys Spirit Airlines data for $10M — 100 million emails to train AI

Google purchased the business data of bankrupt U.S. airline Spirit Airlines at auction for $10 million. The package includes approximately 100 million anonymised emails and 500 million Teams messages. Google intends to use the data to train its artificial intelligence models.
