Health Ministry proposes new quality indicators to affect hospital funding

Poland's Ministry of Health has sent a draft regulation to public consultation that would introduce three new healthcare quality indicators tied to wage expenditure. Starting next year, the indicators would affect how much funding hospitals receive from the National Health Fund (NFZ). The move is intended to encourage medical facilities to spend more on staff salaries.
