S&P Dow Jones upgrades Poland from emerging to developed market

S&P Dow Jones Indices has reclassified Poland from an emerging market to a developed market, marking a historic upgrade for the Polish economy and stock exchange. Finance Minister Andrzej Domański called the decision "further confirmation of Poland's growing position." The reclassification could attract new institutional investors to the Polish capital market.
