Labour Inspectorate clears path to compulsory employment contracts for Pyszne.pl couriers

Poland's State Labour Inspectorate has opened proceedings against Pyszne.pl that could result in an order to employ its couriers on standard contracts. A think tank backed by Rafał Brzoska and Michał Sołowow accuses the inspectorate of using oversight tools as a political instrument. It also warns of the "civil death" of gig platforms and major legal claims against Poland.
