South Korea's Shinhan partners with Solana Foundation to tokenize won-denominated fund

South Korea's Shinhan Bank has joined forces with the Solana Foundation, Etherfuse and Orca to develop a proof-of-concept for issuing and distributing a Korean won-denominated tokenized fund. The initiative aims to test blockchain technology's potential within traditional banking infrastructure.
