USS Abraham Lincoln heads home to San Diego after nine-month Middle East deployment

The aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and its crew of approximately 5,000 are leaving the Middle East after a roughly nine-month deployment and heading back to their home port in San Diego. It was one of the longer recent US Navy deployments to the region.
